Giants In The Land

The story is told about a young woman with unlimited potential! She is multitalented. She has the gift of relating to people from various walks of life - empowering them to believe in themselves and believe in all that God has created them to be. She has the gift of leadership, public speaking, writing, as well as musical and theatrical abilities.

It is obvious that the favor of God is on this young woman's life!

However, there was one problem. Although she knew these things to be true; she knew that the favor of God was on her life, yet she was unable to activate this favor to its fullest potential. Why? Because she saw "Giants" in the land and she perceived herself as a "grasshopper" and so she was in the sight of the "Giants"! (Numbers 13:33) illustration and emphasis mine.

With such favor on this young woman's life, how is it that she perceived herself as a "grasshopper"?

You see. As a child, this young woman was unaware of the favor of God on her life. She was only aware of the "Giants In The Land". The "Giants" of abuse, discouragement, disappointments, worthlessness and hopelessness. It was these "Giants" that influenced her perception of seeing herself as a "grasshopper".

But one day, she had an encounter that changed her life FOREVER! She encountered words of empowerment; she heard, felt, and experienced expressions of true love and acceptance! A type of love and acceptance that is unconditional, meaning it is not based on one's external behavior or one's ability to reciprocate, but this kind of love and acceptance is based on her unlimited potential to be loved and accepted - Unconditionally!

Oh the love God has for each of us!

In spite of our behavior; Inspite of our past, present or future ugliness; Inspite of the color of our skin or our educational background; Inspite of our mistakes and our intentions to do harm. God's love is unconditional, never changing, never wavering, never ending!

Wow! That is worth shouting about right there! Thank You Jesus!

Do you know why God's love and acceptance of you is unconditional? Because if you accept him and allow him to fill your life, He WILL transform you and remove all of the ugliness that the "Giants" embedded in you! Because He has the power to heal all of the internal hurts and remove all of the internal pain that the "Giants" inflicted upon you.

How do I know? Because that young woman ....................... was ME!

Do you want to experience the healing and transformation that I am experiencing today? Do you want the favor of God on your life? Do you want to see the "Giants" destroyed once and for all, never again seeing you as a "grasshopper"?

Accept Christ into your life today and allow him to transform you, heal you, and restore you to your rightful place - to be all that He has created you to be!
