Defining Moment!

Greetings Women of Elegance & Distinction!

I hope this posting finds you well and blessed!

I am so excited this afternoon!

I have been praying and studying, asking God to clarify my calling. I have known for quite sometime now that my calling is to work with women from all walks of life: Encouraging them, inspiring them, and empowering them to live their best life! But that's the calling of a lot of women - So what? What is it about me or what I have to offer that is different? I wanted to know. I needed a "niche" area - A specialized, focused area so to speak. I needed clarification!

Thus my quest to find my "niche" began.

Prayer, lists, notes, studying, accepting offices, more list, notes and prayer, set-backs, delayed blessings (or so I thought), trials and test at home, work, and church, which in turn pushed me toward my current successes such as starting my own business, teaching class on the very obstacles that I struggled with for so many years (and that still plague me from time to time), to co-authoring 2 books for women, to joining networking groups that empower and support women entrepreneurs, back to studying, praying, more list and notes, trials and test, etc.....

However, today, the pieces are finally starting to fit together! They go something like this:

My Spiritual Gift:
- Encouragement
- Discernment
- Seeing potential in others

Innate Gift:
- Public Speaking
- Stage Presence
- Boldness

My Passion:
- Motivating, Inspiring, and Encouraging Women to be their "Best Selves" and to celebrate who God created them to be as women!

My Talents:
- Performing Gospel Music in American Sign Language

My Interest:
- Studying Inspirational Materials
- Studying Self-Improvement/Empowerment Materials

And on, and on, you get the idea.

Needless to say, there is still work to do. And that is why I am not announcing my calling just yet. You will have to keep checking back for more developments.

Again, what a defining moment this afternoon has been for me! I now have a focus so that I am no longer all over the place. Whew! I am now starting to see how every piece of the craziness is a part of the complete puzzle; it's the guide that led me to my "Defining Moment!"

Pastor Carlos Blake, Jr. put it this way: "Every journey begins with one step".

What's your journey?

What one step can you take today that will move you closer to your "Defining Moment"?

P.S.
Earlier, I mentioned that I am a co-author of 2 books for women. For more information, check out my website at: www.mo2vate.net and click on the products tab.

Be Blessed!
